Rico, Luis

An artist, researcher, and cultural producer. Co-founder and co-director of MediaLabMadrid, a transdisciplinary programme specializing in the exploration of new models of research, training, and cultural production and dissemination, at the Centro Cultural Conde Duque (CCCD) in Madrid. He was the co-director of the I Festival Internacional de Arte, Ciencia y Tecnología, Cibervisión, at CCCD in Madrid (2002); the banquete_metabolismo y comunicación (2003), banquete_comunicación en evolución, (2005), and Digital Transit exhibits held at the CCCD, co-produced by the Ars Electronica Center of Linz and MediaLabMadrid. Currently, he is the director of the nodes and networks (nodos y redes) R+D programme on eco-physiology and the transfer of knowledge.
